New Stuff

I've made a couple of changes to the lines. The step up that had the pallet in the landing has now been filled in to make it a "step up/table/roller". I've never seen anybody build anything like it, but that's not to say that it hasn't been done before. I hope that you'll be able to nose manual up and over the top. If you do, you'll be rolling over a 6ft tall roller.

These pics are of the end of the top line. I've still got a little bit ore work to do until it's finished, but I've made good progress in the past 2 days.

Rain Much?

The river is full.
Photobucket

The water somehow flooded all of the way back to the trails. The river had to rise at least 2 feet above everything. We are really far away from the river.

AS you can see, this huge tree that we had a lip stacked up against was moved by the flooding water. This tree is at least 60ft long. Hopefully the tools that we had hidden behind it didn't get washed down stream. But if the didn't, then they are sitting underneath the tree.

Every pit is full of water. We know where one of the 55 gallon drums is, but we are not sure where the second one is. If we can find it soon then we can fill them up within a short amount of time just using the water in the pits.

I have bucketed 135 gallons of water from 3 pits before, and now EVERY pit is overflowing with water. I think we need another 55 gallon drum!

Getting there

Photobucket

We gave everything in all of the lines a new face last week and I began to work on this line that we left sitting for the past 8 months. The lip with 2 carpets will be a left hip. However, the rain slowed me down so this thing won't be finished for another week or so.

Feel free to come dig if you live in the area.
